picture being hosted by you for which I have the copyright. What should I do?
Well, my apologies for that. All you need to do is to send a mail to abuse@uploadslut.com
with evidence that the image is yours. This is to prevent people sending funny
mails to screw someone else.

Why are you
offering free image hosting? What is the catch?

I am sorry to
disappoint you, but there is no catch. This site was founded because the creator
was reading something on a forum about image hosting. Since it was mentioned
that such script could be written in 5 hours, he decided to try it out. Well, it
took a bit longer, but that can be seen at the results.
I have put the
site online, since I had a hosting account which allowed me to use 40 Gb of
bandwidth. Later that was even upgraded to 80 Gb. Since this bandwidth was
unused and doesn't cost anything extra, the image upload service is offered.

my images be?

That is specified
on the IMG UPLOAD page. At the moment of writing this FAQ it was set to almost 2
Mb.

What can I do with the images I upload?

You will receive
some links and codes which allow you to use the images anywhere. That can be in
an EBay auction, in newsgroups, on forums or to just forward them to others.

Yes, of course.

Will you ruin my images
with watermarks or so?

Absolutely not! I
am using my image hosting myself as well and I don't like to have the my images
watermarked with someone else's rubbish.

Absolutely not!
No matter what happens, I will never spam you. As stated on the page itself, I
will only send you mail regarding your image. At the moment that is only for
sending the codes to you for your convenience.

Can other
people see my images?
|
Only people to
whom you disclose your link can see it. That’s why there code in your link is so
complicated. It is a so called MD5 hash, which contains from 32 characters and
numbers. The code is completely random chosen. Since the code is so complicated,
it is more or less impossible to guess it. That’s why I can state that no one
can see you image unless you want it.

I receive a lot
of funny things via mail (just like most people). Since I like to share them
too, but don't like to forward mails (to prevent spam and full mailboxes) I'll
put them up here.

Of course, I
didn't make them up myself as well. I usually read them myself in newsgroups.
